What is the Quran?
The Quran is the final revelation from Allah sent to mankind by means of the angel Jibrael.
It was revealed over a period of 23 years to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) over 1400 years ago.
It is unchanged and is preserved by text and by memory, as millions of Muslims all over the world memorise the entire Quran word for word.
One of the miracles of the Quran is it's preservation, and it also contains many scientific, numeric and linguistic miracles.
The Quran is not read in Arabic like a traditional book, it is recited as can be seen in the below video.
