Who is Jesus (peace be upon him) in Islam?
Jesus or Isa (pbuh) is one of the 5 greatest Messengers sent by Allah to mankind.
He comes from a lineage of Prophets including (Jacob, David and Soloman), he has no father and he was the son of Mary (Mariam).
An entire chapter in the Quran is devoted to Mariam (May Allah be pleased with her), and she is mentioned in the Quran as the best of women.
The birth of Prophet Isa (pbuh) was a miracle, and it is mentioned in detail in the Quran.
Isa (pbuh) had performed many miracles in his life time, with the help of Allah.
These miracles included curing the blind, bringing life to a dead bird and speaking as an infant.
He was a pious servant of Allah and he was the bearer of the Gospels.
Isa (pbuh) was raised up to Heaven, alive, by the angels to protect him against his oppressors.
All Mighty Allah will send Jesus (pbuh) back to Earth to defeat the false Mesiah (Dajjal), and he will lead the Muslim's to victory against Dajjal.
